ORBIT LAB / Research Checklist A practical framework for independent research 1. DEFINE THE QUESTION [ ] Identify the project, asset, or mechanism you are researching. [ ] Record primary sources, publication dates, and version numbers. [ ] Separate known facts from assumptions and open questions. 2. REVIEW AIRDROP AND INCENTIVE PROGRAMS [ ] Verify official sources and domains; third-party lists are not reward promises. [ ] Record requirements, time commitments, potential costs, and exit conditions. [ ] Never share seed phrases. Understand any signature or approval before proceeding. [ ] Track completed tasks without assuming they establish eligibility. 3. STRUCTURE A STRATEGY HYPOTHESIS [ ] Define entry, exit, allocation, and pause conditions in writing. [ ] Separate in-sample and out-of-sample observations. [ ] Consider fees, slippage, execution constraints, and failure scenarios. [ ] Record drawdowns and consecutive losses, not just favorable outcomes. 4. REVIEW EXPOSURE AND RESULTS [ ] Document concentration, liquidity needs, and allocation assumptions. [ ] Consider price declines, stablecoin depegs, and inability to exit. [ ] Distinguish evidence, inference, and information still to be verified. [ ] Compare observations with the original hypothesis. This checklist is for research and education. It is not investment advice and does not guarantee returns, eligibility, or rewards.
